Steele Family | Utah Family Photographer | Spring Glen, Utah

Hi again everyone!

Let me stop for a second to tell you that I am seriously the luckiest photographer in the world. My clients are always so amazing to work with. That’s true of my session with the Steele family, too!

I met up with them in Spring Glen and the weather was perfect for photo-taking. While the weather was fine, it was the Steele family that made this shoot such a joy.

The Steele family consists of Liesel, Jordan, Teagan & Tripp

“Being together! Hiking, Biking, Swimming, Rzr riding, fishing, camping, canoeing, and much more…,” says Liesel.

As you can see from the comments above and the photos below, this family is not only photogenic, but also a close-knit group who clearly love spending time together. Jordan, Liesel, Teagan & Tripp are lucky to have each other.

 Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Sierra & Forrest | Utah Engagement Photographer | Wheeler Farm

We meet again, lovely blog readers!

I recently photographed Sierra & Forrest at Wheeler Farm. This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married on March 8th.

Sierra shared with me how they met & also how Forrest proposed:

“Forrest and I met in a biology study group just over a year ago at UVU. So just before school let out for Thanksgiving break I told Forrest that I would really like to go to Temple Square to see the lights. Well, we never made an official plan, Thanksgiving had come and gone and then I got a phone call from him on Saturday Nov. 30th and he asked if I wanted to still go see the lights and of course, I said yes! So we headed up to salt lake and we had a great time looking at lights and there were a ton of people there. Mind you I had absolutely no idea that the whole idea of coming up here for him was to propose! But he didn’t end up getting on his knee there due to the crowds, instead when we had arrived back in Provo he asked if I wanted to go walk around the Provo Temple. I was like sure, not thinking much of it, it’s an activity that we do often enough not to be anything suspicious. So we get to the Provo temple and we were seriously the only two people there. We went to the back and were just having a casual conversation and then he asked me a couple of questions. He first said “Hey Sierra we should probably date” I laughed and said “Ya you should probably ask me to date you”. Forrest responded with the question“Hey Sierra will you date me?” I laughed and said “of course!” and then…..he said “I have one more question” and then he slowly got down on one knee and asked “Sierra will you marry me?” After a couple tears of joy and put my words together I said “YES!”

“I am most excited to see how everything comes together for the reception. Decorations and all. And I am especially excited to do our first look video at Bridals. Forrest still hasn’t seen my dress but when he does his reaction will be caught on camera and I hope he likes it!” says Sierra.

Future wedding details aside, let’s get to the present: Forrest and Sierra’s engagement session! These two are real naturals in front of the camera. Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, a sublime location and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot one to remember!

Best of luck to the happy couple!

Holly & Matt | Utah Wedding Photographer | Manti LDS Temple

I said it before and I’ll say it again: Congratulations Holly & Matt!

Here is how he proposed:He took me to a sentimental picnic area (where he first told me he loved me) and had a picnic. His little brother was hiding in the bushes taking pictures. We had food we always ate together during lunch breaks at school. He asked me to dance to the song we danced on our first valentines then popped the question.”

What a great day we had at the Manti LDS Temple! “Kneeling across the alter” she says was her favorite moment from her wedding day.

When I first saw Holly, she was already wearing her beautiful white wedding gown that she found at the DI!! She had her mom fix it just how she wanted it!

The reception was held in Star Valley, WY! Everyone loved the food catered by the Relief Society Presidency. The menu consisted of Ginger Bread and Wassail.

Holly & Matt danced their first dance to “When I’m With You”.

The whole day was amazing. Join me in wishing Matt & Holly a happily ever after!

Without further adieu, Mr. and Mrs. Krugman!
